Transforming lives.

With each transformed life, we are reminded that together, we can make a difference.

Hermano Pedro Foundation USA seeks to improve the health and well-being of Guatemalans by supporting the medical and residential care delivered by Obras Sociales (Las Obras) in Antigua, Guatemala, a mission of Franciscan Friars (OFM).

Each year, thousands of people across Guatemala regain health and hope thanks to the medical services of Las Obras. Patients gain access to primary care and specialized medicine, clinical diagnostics, surgery, laboratory services, pharmacy services, child nutrition recovery, preventive care, and more. Medical Care

Since 1980, Las Obras has been a refuge of love and mercy, providing residential care for poor and vulnerable Guatemalans of all ages. Residential Care

A legacy of compassion that still rings today.

Every consultation, treatment, and surgery is one step closer to a better life.

Care is given with love to those in need of all ages, without regard for their ability to pay, in the spirit of Saint Hermano Pedro.

Hermano Pedro Foundation USA was founded in 2001 to support this mission and expand its reach. Read more about our Foundation and the Saint who inspires our work, still today.
